After 12 years in corporate banking, Bill Powers founded Powers Investment Advisory Corporation in 1983, desiring to offer quality financial services to individuals who didn’t meet minimum requirements of larger firms.
Receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and finance from St. John’s University in 1970, Bill went on to pursue an M.B.A. at Baldwin-Wallace College. Bill is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses and a Life, Health & Variable Annuity license.
Andrew J. Powers, CFP®
Sharing his father’s interest in financial planning, Andrew joined Powers Investment Advisory in 2005, determined to take the firm to a new level of growth and expansion. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and finance from Baldwin-Wallace College in 2004. Andrew is also a Certified Financial Planner™ professional. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 licenses and a Life, Health & Variable Annuity license.
